The present invention relates to a contact-connecting device with a contacting element (18)which connects more than two indicator fibers(9) in an electrically conducting manner to create a conducting connection of indicator fiber(9) at the end of a safety-monitored synthetic fiber rope(6) made from electrically insulating synthetic fibers and electrically conducting indicator fibers and electrically conducting indicator fibers(9). Fastening means (20,22) fix the contacting element (18) and the indicator fibers(9) in their positions relative to each other which creates a low-cost and reliable contact-connection.
