A stabilising bolt adaptor 10 for use with a drill head/grouting injection system, said adaptor having first 11 and second 13 ends and including: a drill engaging portion comprising a surface 12 engageable for rotational movement by a drill chuck 15; at least one inlet 14 for receiving at least one component of a grouting composition, wherein one of said inlets is located at said first end 11 of the adaptor 10 and is sealingly engageable with a grouting injection means 17 for injecting said at least one component of said grouting composition; a bolt connecting means 20 for connection with a hollow stabilising bolt 40 having a longitudinal bore 44 therethrough; the or each inlet 14 leading to a common conduit 28 extending to an outlet 30, said outlet 30 opening into the longitudinal bore 44 of the hollow stabilising bolt 40 when in use. The invention also relates to a grouting injection nut, a combination grouting injection nut and stabilising bolt, and a method for stabilising a formation comprising rock, coal, soil and/or concrete or the like, using the combination grouting injection nut and stabilising bolt.
