The present invention refers to an industrialised nopal tortilla including maize and nopal properties such as vitamins: A, C, Thiamine, Complex B; minerals: calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron; fibres: lignin, cellulose, hemicellulose, pectin and slugs; amino acids: lysine, isoleucine, threonine, valine, leucine, tryptophan, methionine, and phenylalanine. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a product forming part of the human basic diet, particularly of Mexicans, which is not available on the market, characterised in that it includes the advantages of traditional tortillas with the exception of being enriched with nopal, thereby having a higher nutritional value and fewer calories, and being useful for easily controlling diseases such as diabetes mellitus, obesity and overweight, atherosclerosis, gastritis, gastroduodenal ulcer and haemorrhoids, nevertheless, the consumption of the inventive tortillas does not mean the person would be cured.
