The present invention is related to the pharmaceutical industry in general and to the pharmaceutical industry producing drugs for controlling hypertension and dyslipidemia in particular. The invention is mainly related to a composition including hypotensive antagonist substances of angiotensin II receptors along with hypolipemiant substances. The inventive composition is characterised in that said combination or association includes selected antagonist substances of angiotensin II receptors best known as Losartan, and a hypolipemiant agent best known as Simvastatin, which results in a product having synergistic effects for treating hypertension and dyslipidemia with reduced side effects.
