An animal carcass disposal system comprising a sealable vessel with air pipes for ventilation, into which the carcasses are placed, along with an algae mixture, is new. The degradation process produces a liquid lime material which can be used as a fertilizer. A system for disposing of animal carcasses comprising a plastic vessel with a sealable cover, via which the carcasses are added, is new. A first pipe connected to the vessel is used to supply air and a second pipe connected to the vessel and an extractor fan is used to remove air in order to ventilate the vessel. The vessel is set into the ground. An algae mixture is added to accelerate the degradation process, which after 3 months produces a liquid lime material which can be mixed with manure used to fertilize fields. A water connection and heating element are also provided.
