During pivoting movement of the wing (11), the space between the hinge side of the wing and the adjacent part of the frame (12) to which the hinges are attached remains constant. The hinge axis (14) is located on the inside of the peripheral edge of the wing and the opposing hinged edges of the wing and frame are curved. The hinge comprises at least one pin (24) lying on the hinge axis and mounted via e.g. a ball bearing (25) in either the wing or frame and protruding into an opening in the other.
