The clamp is a plastic one with a concave plastic grip having two arms designed to be gently pressed apart with one hand whilst the other hand is used to push the folded top edge of the opened carton into a slot in the middle of the clamp, after which the carton can be stored upside down. The clamp prevents the contents from leaking during storage.
