A controller controls drive units (7,10) which drive wheels (5,8) respectively such that the trailer (1) makes a forward/backward turn automatically followed by backward/forward turn. The power of each drive unit is described by power curve. Each power curve intersects time axis, and the intersection denotes a change in driving direction of the drive units. Both power curves have a positive and negative value alternating over time. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method manoeuvring trailer; and (2) computer program storing instructions for manoeuvring trailer.
