Several antenna modules (4.1-4.4) on each shelf, comprise an antenna (5.1) for transmitting electromagnetic interrogation field and receiving responses from identification labels connected to an article placed on the shelf. The antenna modules has several coils which are located on or above the shelf and which are provided substantially in each surface of antenna modules. Each surface has a normal virtually directed in a longitudinal direction of the shelf. The surfaces are offset relative to each other in the longitudinal direction of the shelf.
