The device has a right beam (1) and a left beam (2) for receiving bottom of a guitar, where back of a body of the guitar rests on right and left uprights (3, 4). The right and left uprights include tops, which are hinged together at an oblique angle and connected at the bottom to the right and left beams, respectively, where the right and left beams rest on the ground. The device includes a mechanism for determining maximum distance between the right and left beams in folded condition, and the maximum angle between the right and left uprights when the uprights are in extended condition.
