The connection point for the opposite end of the steering linkage (46) to the rotor unit (4) is located in the main frame (2) of the machine, at a distance from the rotation axis for the lever hinge (30) connecting the sub-frame to the main frame. The rotor unit, which can be lifted between a lifting position and at least one raised position, is connected to the sub-frame via a follower hinge which allows the unit at least two degrees of rotational freedom relative to the sub-frame, in order to compensate for any unevenness of the ground underneath the unit.
