The load container (4) is for transport of long piece goods on a lorry or trailer and involves a load exchanger functioning in addition to the customary transport of scrap iron. The load container can be turned around and incorporates two roller components (8a,8b) on the second (2) of the longitudinal sides which acts as the bottom of the container when transporting long piece goods. The opening of the container is directed to the side when loading and transporting long piece goods.
