The device includes a gas measuring block (1) to which liquid can be supplied from a liquid tank. The gas measuring block has a lower emptying connection (7) connected through a pump (5) to a receiving container. A discharge valve (4) is set depending on level above the pipe (12) of the gas measuring block. The gas measuring block and connecting pipe (13) between the block pipe (12) and discharge valve are connected to the ventilation device (2) mounted at the top and connected to a control unit (6) so that during emptying of the block the discharge valve is shut off and the volumetric counter (3) with electronic measuring device is deactivated. The ventilation device has one or more liquid sensors.
