New types of antineoplastic compounds with pyrano3,2-cchromene- 2(5H)-one skeleton and a method of their preparation

The compounds with pyrano[3,2-c]chromene-2(5H)-one skeleton of the general formula (I) were prepared by condensation of substituted 4-oxo-4H-chromene-3carbaldehyde with compounds having active methylene group in the environment of an organic anhydride an a basis as catalyst. Next derivatives of these compounds were prepared by substitution of acyloxy group on skeleton of products from previous reaction with alcohols, thiols, selanols, amino compounds, water, hydrides or organometal compounds. The substances of general formula (I) have antitumor effect; antioxidant and UV-protective properties and they are characterized by fluorescence. The described compounds are the basis for development of medical products, fluorescent marks and protective cosmetic products.
