METHOD OF INTENSIVE PROPAGATION AND SPEEDED UP GROWING A PROPAGATION MATERIAL OF POMOLOGICAL APPLE VARIETIES

摘要

A method of intensive propagation and speeded up growing of a propagation material of pomological apple varieties includes using saplings grown on clonal stocks. Early in spring into furrows, prepared preliminarily, annual saplings of the varieties being propagated, grown on the clonal stocks, oriented to the north by tops thereof, are planted inclined to the surface of the soil. After appearance of juvenile actively-vegetating shoots and achieving thereby a height of 18...20 cm, sleeves with shoots, planted as inclined ones, are transferred from the inclined state into the horizontal one and fixed to the bottom of the furrows by wire hooks. Then they are covered with loose fertile moistened soil.
