METHOD FOR COMPLEX EXAMINATION OF PATIENTS WITH LEIOMYOMA UTERI PRIOR TO EMBOLIZATION OF UTERINE ARTERIES

The method for the complex examination of the patients with leiomyoma uteri prior to the embolization of the uterine arteries provides for the general clinical examination, ECG, echosonography, the histological study of endometrium and endocervix. In addition, oncocytological study, colposcopy, and bacteriological analysis of the vaginal content are performed. The conclusion as to the embolization of the uterine arteries in such patients is based on the results of the complex examination.
