A method for producing porous glass materials from ash and slag waste consists in that charge comprising CaO, SiO2, Al2O3, C, Fe2O3, MgO, Na2O, K2O, SO3 and TiO2, is heated to the temperature of melting and melted in reducing medium, and then the metal part of melt is poured to ingot molds, and silicate part of the melt is sharply cooled by poring into water, and as a result the porous structure of glass material is formed. The carbon content in the charge is brought to 14.0-22.0 % by weight, and the ratio of SiO2/CaO in the charge is brought to 1.0-1.3.
