The proposed active filter for compensating the higher harmonic components of the current and voltage of a motor contains a unit for measuring the amplitudes of harmonic components, a unit for compensating harmonic components, and additionally, a voltage setting unit, current transformers for the motor stator, current transformers for the motor rotor, a voltage transformer, and an angular position transducer for the motor rotor.
