METHOD FOR PREDICTING RECURRENCE OF ACOUSTIC NEURINOMA

The method for predicting the recurrence of the acoustic neurinoma comprises the assessment of several parameters of the immune system as well as the titer of the antibody against the basic myelin protein and the antigens of the connective tissue. The content of tumor necrosis factor is also measured. The increase in antibody titer and cytokine content is indicative of the probability of the recurrence of the acoustic neurinoma.
