A method of determination in patients with diabetes mellitus of risk groups as to development of heavy eventual consequences of disease includes creation of data bank about patients with diabetes mellitus and analysis of individual data array. The analysis is conducted by means of mathematical model of Cohonen neural network construction in multidimensional area of signs, that describes objects of the same type, with next determination of cluster of patients, that have the high risk of heavy eventual consequences of disease.
