METHOD TO INVESTIGATION PHYSICAL-MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF SOILS

Method to investigation of physical-mechanical properties of soils is in fact that to earth wall of shaft, or well, one presses thin strip with periodic stops, with measurement of pressing force at motion of strip and stopping it. After that one takes it out from earth with measurement of force of extraction, at that one measures two forces simultaneously, those act on separate sections of composite strip. One uses assembled strip consisting of continuous thickened strip with long deep slot provided in one of side ends and thinnest strip-blade.One of side walls of strip-band is arranged with thickening that goes to long slot of thickened strip as to case, this makes it possible to measure simultaneously both forces affecting each of composite parts of strip at its immersion to earth and extraction from it.
