METHOD FOR INDIVIDUAL PROTECTION OF GERMINATING SEEDLINGS AND PLANTED SEEDLINGS OF VEGETABLES

摘要

A method for individual protection of steps and planted seedlings of melon crops includes using a non-woven material for covering sown fields. Depending on biological special features of a crop, at the stage of full sprouting, agrofibers cut into separate parts of a rectangular shape, with the equal length of sides thereof (50-60 cm), is fixed above plants thus forming individual coverings projecting for 15-20 cm above the soil which are removed after the plants had achieved 15 cm in height.
