A method for diagnostics of boundaries of zone of falling and strata movement trough at underground coal extraction includes well drilling from earth surface to seam, with installation there of indicators and determination of rates of rock stratification in zone falling and strata movement trough. Wells are drilled in two mutually normal directions - by propagation and inclination of the seam, one of wells is placed in center of predicted falling zone, distance between wells is determined by formula.
