The invention concerns the power supply of the railroads of alternating current. A system of the power supply of electrified railroad of alternating current contains a traction substation connected to the contact and shielding conductors, the latter from which is connected by electrical connectors with the sections of the track circuit. The shielding conductor is located inside the contact conductor, and the sections of the track circuit are isolated from each other. Contact and shielding conductors can be combined in the coaxial cable reinforced on the periphery by current-tap metallic profile. Contact conductor can also have box form, and the shielding conductor may be in the form of insulated cable. Technical result consists in formation of symmetrical electromagnetic field from contact and insulating conductors, which leads to the considerable decrease of the resulting electromotive force, i.e. to the decrease of electromagnetic influence on the adjacent structures, which are located along the railroad.
