PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF SORBENT FOR RECOVERY OF NOBLE METALS AT PRODUCTION OF NITRIC ACID

The invention relates to the field of the nitric acid production. A process for the preparation of the sorbent for recovery of noble metals at production of nitric acid on the basis of alkaline-earth metals from the oxides or carbonates and chlorides of calcium and magnesium and burning addition of polystyrene. The use of the sorbent in the production of nitric acid allows to reach 85% degree of recovery of noble metals at their content in the sorbent up to 2.7%.
