THERMOGRAVIMETRIC METHOD OF REDUNDANT MEASUREMENTS FOR DETERMINING MOISTURE OF PRODUCT

The proposed thermogravimetric method of redundant measurements for determining moisture of product consists in using two product samples with different initial weights, heating the samples with the heating temperature being varied according to a specified time function, alternately measuring the weights of the samples in the heating process by weighing the samples or measuring the gravitational forces that are proportional to the weights by measuring transducers, and using the data so obtained for calculating the moisture of the product by a specified equation. The samples are heated and the weight of each sample is measured until the weight of the sample at the next measurement is equal to the weight of the sample at the preceding measurement. The proposed method is distinctive by its enhanced measurement accuracy.
