DEVICE FOR PROTECTION AGAINST CORROSION OF UNDERGROUND PIPELINE IN THE ZONE OF INFLUENCE OF HIGH VOLTAGE OF POWER TRANSMISSION LINES

The invention relates to technical physics and is intended for cathode protection against corrosion of underground steel pipelines lied in the zone of influence of high voltage power transmission lines, and can be used for electrochemical protection of metallic constructions against corrosion with wandering currents caused by rail electric transport and other sources of alternating currents. A device contains two diodes, capacitor, earth, connecting wires, outlet of first diode and inlet of second diode connected to first lead of capacitor and connected to metal of pipeline, inlet of first diode is connected to second lead of capacitor and connected by wire to the earth. A source of constant voltage is introduced therein with negative terminal connected to outlet of second diode, and positive one connected to inlet of first diode, the voltage of source is equal to the sum of voltage drop at second diode and voltage of protection potential of underground pipeline. First bus and two additional earths are introduced, which pass from first earth along pipeline and connected by bus thereto. Second earthed bus is introduced, which is lied in soil in parallel to underground pipeline of opposite side of pipeline towards disposition of first bus both buses are connected between them by electric conductor. The mechanism provides increase in reliability and operation life of underground pipelines due to cathode polarization constant in time independently of voltage sign.
