The proposed method for monitoring the state of a products pipe line by acoustical emission is distinctive by that the working pressure in the pipe line varies in the monitoring process according the specified characteristic. According to the first variant of the realization of the method, the initial pressure is increased by 15 - 20 % with a rate of 200 kPa (2 bar) per 1 minute, that the achieved end pressure is maintained for 10 - 15 minutes, than the pressure is reset to the initial value. According to the second variant, the initial pressure is decreased by 15 - 20 % so the end pressure differs from the initial pressure by no more than 50 %, then the end pressure is maintained for 10 - 15 minutes, than the pressure is increased to the initial pressure with a rate of 200 kPa per 1 minute. The proposed method provides a possibility to detect al localize defects of a products pipe line, which vary in a wide range.
