Heat treatment furnace exposing thermally- and ultraviolet-curing coatings of objects, includes infra red radiants on panel, with preferred directions of radiation and specified inclinations
The normal projection of at least one preferred direction (6, 6') of the infra red radiants, which contain components parallel to the conveying direction (5), are inclined at the conveying plane (8) with respect to the conveying direction. The normal projections of the preferred directions in the conveying plane are essentially parallel to each other. The preferred direction of a group of infra red radiants (2) contain a component in the conveying direction (5) and the preferred direction (6') in another group of infra red radiants (2') contains a component against the conveying direction. One infra red radiant of one group, is arranged near an infra red radiant (2') of the other group. The angle (gamma , gamma ') which the normal projection of the preferred directions (6, 6') includes with the conveying direction in the conveying plane (8) is especially 40[deg]-50[deg]. The corresponding angle (beta , beta ') which the preferred directions include with the conveying direction is preferably 50[deg]-60[deg]. The radiants are arranged on a panel (1) orientated parallel to the conveying direction. It is parallel to the conveying plane. The infra red radiants are arranged along longitudinal axes (11) which are parallel and inclined with respect to the conveying direction. The sources are tubular with reflectors parallel to them. There are two opposite panels; longitudinal axes of the radiants on one panel are inclined at about 90[deg] to the longitudinal axes of those on the other panel. Alternatively, both sets are parallel but offset with respect to each other. On two panels, each of the radiant sets have a common preferred direction of radiation. These directions are parallel but in opposite directions.
