A unique platform to help patients with low vision is proposed. It is about obtaining a low-cost, portable platform, useful for several pathologies at the same time, that can be adaptable to the needs of different patients, and that can be adapted to the evolution of the patient's visual capacity over time. The complete low vision support platform consists of an image acquisition system (camera), a configurable real-time image processing device (FPGA) and a portable viewfinder (HMD-Head Mounted Display).
