The installation has a pit arranged within a path through which a railway vehicle moves. The pit is formed with a port through which the railway vehicle passes. The installation also has supports provided for the blower nozzles which are located along the path with respect to suction openings. The suction openings are linked to a dust suction system. The blower nozzles are removable with respect to the railway vehicle which is simultaneously moved by a drag car along the path. A programmable controller regulates the blower nozzles to ensure optimum cleaning conditions.
