The key for e.g. a selector keyboard pushbutton system has a rigid non-metallic monolithic casing where a dichroic head links at least one perimetral wall to a central core. The head incorporates the key symbol, and the head is formed by laser treatment of its visible surface giving at least two different colors facilitating visual recognition of the symbol.
