VARIATIONS OF HUMAN CILIAR NEUROTROPHIC FACTOR CHARACTERIZED BY THE REPLACEMENT OF PHENYLALANINE 152 AND / OR LISINE 155 BY ALANINE. THESE VARIATIONS HAVE BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES THAT MAKE THEM IMPORTANT AS MAIN ACTIVE PRINCIPLES OF MEDICINES FOR THE TREATMENT OF DISEASES AND PATHOLOGIES THAT AFFECT THE NERVOUS SYSTEM OR OTHER PATHOLOGIES THAT IMPLIED THE RESPONSE OF THE CELLS TO THE CNTF. FIGURE 2 ILLUSTATES THE RESULTS OF THE STIMULATION OF THE HEPTOGLOBIN SECRETION OF HEPG2 CELLS BY THE CNTF AND THE VARIANTS DESCRIBED IN THE PRESENT INVENTION.
