A variable geometry turbine comprising a housing (3), a rotor (4) rotatably supported in the casing (3) defining the casing an inlet channel (6) for a flushing fluid as a spiral surrounding the rotor (4) and a nozzle (10) annular fins variable geometry interposed radially between the channel (6) and the rotor (4) to thereby control the flow of flushing fluid from the channel (6) to the rotor (4) comprising the annular nozzle (10) of fins variable geometry a first ring (12) of fins and a second ring (13) of fins face each other, each comprising rings (12, 13) finned annular member (15, 16) and a plurality of fins (17, 18) rigidly connected ring (16, 15) and extending towards the annular member (16, 15) of the other ring to the member (13 , 12) of fins, at least one of the rings (12, 13) axially movable fins respect of the other ring flanges (13, 12) for the estemodo define a section (11) of variable nip between these rings of fins (12, 13), the two pluralities of vanes capable of penetrating one another, characterized in that the fins (17, 18) belonging to each canillo are substantially as wedges, their cross section decreasing in the axial direction towards the opposite ring.
