Needle combination intended to be used in the treatment with radioactive seed implant prostate cancer, comprising: a stylet (22) intended for insertion into the prostate in a desired location; a hollow sleeve (28) having a higher than the insertion stylet (22) for insertion into the prostate over the insertion stylet (22) diameter; a needle (36) in which radioactive seeds (37) for implantation in the prostate are loaded, the needle (36) of a diameter slightly smaller than the sheath (28) so that when the insertion stylet ( 22) is removed from the sheath (28), the needle (36) can be inserted into the sheath (28) to the desired position therein; and an implant stylet (44) configured and arranged for partial insertion into the needle (36) and so that when said needle (36) and said sheath (28) are withdrawn from the prostate along the implant stylet ( 44), the radioactive seeds (37) are deposited in desired locations in the prostate.
