Device (1, 100) for injecting a pulsed supersonic gas flow, comprising a first chamber (2) inside which the gas to be injected is under pressure on either side of a free piston (4), comprising the device (1, 100) means (12) for putting this free piston into motion, connected to said first chamber (2) and capable of causing a free piston propulsion (4), including said device (1, 100) , in addition, a supersonic nozzle (6) for ejection of the gas capable of communicating with the first chamber (2) by means of an opening (8) made in this first chamber (2) and a valve (10) blocking the said opening (8), capable of being driven by percussion of the free piston (4).
