A crusher is disposed inside a crushing chamber with an entrance opening, at least one exit opening, and at least one air intake. The crusher is comprised of rigid, oblong shovels arranged helically around a shaft such that a helical passage is formed. At least two transversal shovels parallel to the axis are coupled at the ends such that a single rigid piece is formed. A motor drives the crusher to crush material that arrives at the crushing chamber while airflow is created by air that enters simultaneously with the material such that the crushed material is pushed towards the exit opening.
