A cork closes the passage of fluid by the action of a spring. When the force of the spring is overcome, a piston rod moves with the cork in advancing of the fluid due to dynamic pressure. The advance is proportional to the circulating volume. Each of the sensors that becomes proximate with the piston rod due to the displacement of the piston rod is excited in a stepped manner.
