A delivery system multiplex active agent for oral administration, comprising at least two immediate-release compartments enclosed by compartment extended-release, where the extended-release compartment is graduated so substantially that when the delivery system the agent active is separated along the graduation in sections, each section contains an immediate-release compartment substantially enveloped by the extended-release compartment and wherein each of the at least two immediate-release compartments comprises an effective amount of an active agent, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and extended-release compartment comprises an effective amount of an active agent, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, in a compressed blend with a combination of a hydrophilic polymer and a hydrophobic material.
