The elevating device has an adjustable arm, at the end of which belts are hanged for retaining of a person or a chair, that is articulated in another vertical adjustable arm. A brace is provided, which establishes a fixed right angle between the arms. A cylinder is provided which hangs at the end of the arm to raise or to lower a person. The cylinder closes the angle between the arms and causes elevation or lowering of the arms with its distension and compression. The brace extends the safety belts. The cylinder works with the pressure of the water of the domestic installation.
