The method involves applying individual layers of reinforcement material in thick state to each cut faces of a natural stone, that due to its nature adheres strongly to the stone by its faces. This operation takes place using a mold with which both layers are obtained perfectly regular, obtaining a conformation of the assembly in sandwich form. The assembly thus conformed is dried at room temperature for four or five hours. The sandwich is cut by the geometric center and in longitudinal manner of the natural stone, obtaining two halves or pieces that after polish remain in usable condition.
