The invention relates to a seismic survey method for positioning geological events in the vicinity of the well in the space and for calculating their dip and their dipping direction. It comprises the reception by several multi-axis seismic receivers arranged in a well and coupled with the formations surrounding the well, components along three seismic wave axes returned by the discontinuities of the subsoil in response to seismic waves emitted. in the ground by a surface seismic source, the assignment to the received seismic data of data defining the spatial orientation of the multi - axis seismic receiving sensors, the parallel application to the three wave components received from processing allowing selection of the waves received at each multi-axis sensor, polarized waves including those whose direction of polarization is parallel to the direction of propagation, the location in space, to each multi-axis sensor, directions of respective sources of these polarized waves and the spatial positioning of the seismic events having generated said ndes. - Application to seismic studies of type with surface seismic source, in the same well as the receivers or in another well.
