The present invention relates to thenew 15-membered ketoazalides from theclass of 6-O-methyl-8a-aza-8a-homo- and6-O-methyl-9a-aza-9a-homoerythromycinA with general formula (I), wherein Arepresents NH group and B at the same timerepresents C=O group, or A represents C=Ogroup and B at the same time represents NHgroup, R1 represents OH group, L-cladinosylgroup of formula (II) or together with R2represents ketone, R2 represents hydrogenor together with R1 represents ketone,R3 represents hydrogen or C1-C4alkanoylgroup, to intermediates and a process fortheir preparation, to their pharmaceuticallyacceptable addition salts with inorganic ororganic acids, to the process for the preparationof pharmaceutical compositions, as well asto the use of pharmaceutical compositions fortreating bacterial infections.
