Disclosed is a method for dyeing polyester-containing textile material with one or several dispersed dyes. Said method is characterized in that undyed polyester-containing textile material is treated with an aqueous liquor containing (a) at least one dispersed dye, (b) at least one compound of general formula (Ia) or (Ib), wherein the variables are defined as follows: RSUP1/SUP is selected among hydrogen, phenyl, and CSUB1/SUB-CSUB10/SUB alkyl; RSUP2/SUP is identical or different and is selected among hydrogen, phenyl, and CSUB1/SUB-CSUB10/SUB alkyl; AO represents alkylene oxide; EO represents ethylene oxide; a is identical or different and is selected among numbers ranging from 0 to 150; b is identical or different and is selected among numbers ranging from 15 to 250, with the provision that b = a; d is identical or different and is selected among zero and one; f is identical or different and is selected among numbers ranging from 15 to 35; and M is identical or different and is selected among alkali metals.
