A tool grasping force measuring system (1) has a to-be-held section (21) for a spindle, the to-be-held section (21) having substantially the same shape as a to-be-held section (402) of a tool (400), a sliding member (28) displaced when the to-be-held section (21) for a spindle is pulled into a clamp mechanism (304), a load cell (23) for detecting the amount of displacement of the sliding member (28) and calculating grasping force of the clamp mechanism (304) based on the displacement amount, and a radio transmission device (24) for outputting the grasping force calculated by the load cell (23) by radio transmission. The system enables a single worker to perform grasping force measurement.
