A hollow fiber bamboo-blind-like article that ensures a given hollow fiber interspace to thereby facilitate hollow fiber bundling; a process for producing a hollow fiber bundle; a relevant tubular hollow fiber membrane module; and a relevant immersion type hollow fiber membrane module. There is provided a hollow fiber bamboo-blind-like article comprising multiple porous hollow fibers (10) arranged in parallel with even intervals, tapes binding together multiple hollow fibers at both ends of the hollow fibers and water-soluble tapes (26) binding together multiple hollow fibers in the transverse direction at positions apart from the both ends of the hollow fibers. Further, there is provided a process for producing a hollow fiber bundle, comprising the steps of forming a hollow fiber bamboo-blind-like article; sealing the one end or both ends of the hollow fibers; winding up the hollow fiber bamboo-blind-like article so as to effect piling of hollow fibers; forming respective potting parts for integrally fixing the both ends of the hollow fiber bamboo-blind-like article wound up; and breaking away the potting parts together with the hollow fibers by a plane perpendicular to the hollow fibers and cutting off the sealed end portions to thereby open the hollow fibers.
