Multivariable statistical method for characterising images built from a complex medium like the subsurface

A spatial analysis of the data is carried out to highlight the spatial properties of the physical processes occurring in a complex medium, such as a subsurface environment, in several directions. A spatial contiguity technique is applied to the data to find their best definition in terms of spatial components and the structures obtained are then filtered to obtain the most relevant.
