An optical fiber collimator unit comprising a paired optical fiber collimators each having a GRIN lens fused to the tip end of an optical fiber, wherein the axial position of the optical fiber collimator can be easily corrected when the direction of a GRIN lens tip end surface is directed in an X-axis direction inclined a specified angle from the axis. An optical fiber coupled component having optical fibers fused to the opposite ends of a GRIN lens is fixed in a direction inclined to the X-axis, with one fused portion on one mounting unit and the other fused portion on the other mounting unit, to the mounting units of an optical fiber collimator unit producing table having two mounting units respectively fixing optical fiber collimators, with at least one of the mounting units being able to be moved in a direction perpendicular to the X-axis. The GRIN lens is ground at the center portion thereof with desired lengths left not ground at the opposite ends so that the ground surface direction agrees with the X-axis direction, and at least one mounting unit is moved in a direction perpendicular to the X-axis to relatively displace the one mounting unit with respect to the other mounting unit in a direction perpendicular to the X direction.
