摘要

The invention provides for optimized use of resources of a mobile radio telephone network with a plurality of channels that are suitable for the transmission of data and voice information. Said optimization is achieved by means of a mobile radio telecommunication network and a method for allocating a channel (13) required for a telecommunication link between a caller (1) and a called person (2) via a telecommunication network. Preferably, a physical channel (13) with a different useful signal/disturb signal ratio (13,21) to a voice channel is selected when a request is made for a data channel.
