Irrespective of environmental conditions or installation conditions, the state of refrigerant filling in an air-conditioning apparatus can be accurately judged. There is provided an air-conditioning apparatus comprising arithmetic part (102) for computing of a condenser liquid-phase area ratio being a value relating to the amount of refrigerant in liquid-phase part within a high-pressure side heat exchanger, which condenser liquid-phase area ratio is computed on the basis of the refrigerant condensation temperature of the high-pressure side heat exchanger, the degree of outlet supercooling of the high-pressure side heat exchanger, the suctioned air temperature of the high-pressure side heat exchanger, the enthalpy difference between inlet and outlet of the high-pressure side heat exchanger and the constant-pressure liquid specific heat of outlet refrigerant of the high-pressure side heat exchanger, and further comprising judging part (106) for judging of the state of refrigerant filling in the air-conditioning apparatus on the basis of comparison of value computed by operation of the arithmetic part (102) with given value.
